Sharp Airlines and Qantas Launch New Interline Agreement to Boost Regional Connectivity
Sharp Airlines and Qantas are pleased to announce the introduction of a new one-way interline agreement that will significantly enhance travel options for passengers by linking regional destinations with the broader Qantas network.
Under the agreement, customers who book with Qantas will be able to connect to flights operated by Sharp Airlines. This will open up a greater number of regional destinations across Victoria and Tasmania, including King and Flinders Island, ensuring easier access for both leisure and business travellers.
The interline arrangement, which commences on 11 August 2025 means more streamlined itinerary planning and integrated ticketing through Qantas booking channels. Passengers will benefit from combined fare options between airlines, reducing the complexity of booking separate legs of a journey. These connections will soon be available through travel agents and are expected to appear on Qantas.com in the coming months.
This collaboration represents a shared commitment by both airlines to support regional communities, improve accessibility to remote areas, and foster tourism and economic growth in underserved locations.
Sharp Airlines CEO Alistair Dorward:
“This Qantas interline agreement represents a significant milestone in the 35 year history of Sharp Airlines.
